Providing Safe, Structured Education for Children in Slum Communities
Children growing up in urban slum communities face significant barriers to education — poverty, overcrowded living conditions, lack of proper sanitation and healthcare, and limited access to safe learning spaces.
Through the Slum Children Education initiative, Nitya Foundation works to remove these barriers and open the door to safe, structured learning for every child, regardless of where they live.
Supporting Education for Underprivileged Children
Our approach goes beyond basic classroom learning. Nitya Foundation aims to provide children with access to safe and affordable learning environments, tuition support, digital learning opportunities and mentorship. The objective is to ensure that financial circumstances or the place where a child lives do not become barriers to education.
Through our broader Education Programme, we work across several areas, including Tuition for Rural/Slum Children, Education for Poor Children, Street Children Education, Formal & Non-formal Education and Basic Computer Literacy.
